3rd Place, GDL Quantum Jam 2018
A 2.5D Platformer, built in 20 hours (with an allowance of 72). Time Fracture is a small, highly re-playable game, wherein the user attempts to navigate seven players simultaneously through a gauntlet of obstacles. I worked as a software engineer for this project. The jam itself had some great submitted games.
Nominated as game of the year, 2017, at SAE Qantm
This first-person, mountain based, survival crafting, sandbox game, was the major work created at the end of my Bachelor's of Game Development degree. I worked as both Project Manager and software engineer throughout. Alteran Frost sits nicely amongst games which allow the user to explore.
Custom-built for the nsquared DIGITABLE range
A top-down, retro, Bomberman inspired multiplayer game, Wizard Warz is one of the only games created for the DIGITABLE by a third-party team. I worked as lead software engineer for this project, and is the project which led to my internship with nsquared.
Built using Unreal Engine 4
Within this walking simulator, the user finds themselves in a space-age facility, investigating clues as to where they are, and even who they are. Walking simulator games get a bad wrap, for whilst they are slow, they can provide the user with a relaxed experience, where they can explore, and problem solve. I worked as one of two software engineers. We primarily used the Unreal Blueprint system, though, mixed with some C++.
